* Autofailsafe - This one might be on its way out as it seems to harm more than help, but before engaging in combat, theft, or other potentially dangerous actions in public places a player has to toggle this off first. This applies to just about anything coded that could get the character into trouble. To toggle it off you can enter autofailsafe. Once off, it stays off. (help failsafe or help autofailsafe)

* Guard - Using guard <name> <direction> prevents a person from leaving through the guarded exit. They can attempt to contest the maneuver with the 'shoulder' command, which consumes MV. (help movement guard)

* Shoulder - If being blocked into a room with the guard command, you can spend MV to try and force your way through with the shoulder <direction> command. (help movement shoulder)

* Dust/Inject/Apply/Etc. - Dust, inject, apply, so on and so forth, can be used to inflict sometimes debilitating effects on people, and can be used in combat. Using one on another person consumes your combat action for that round. (various helpfiles)

* Protect - Using protect deflects all attacks upon the protected person onto to you instead. (help combat protect).

* Cover: The cover <obj> command can be used to take cover behind large objects in the room. While in cover, damage dealt to you by firearms is significantly reduced and damage from explosive shrapnel is negated. Melee damage is unchanged. Going into cover consumes a combat round, and you cannot attack while in cover.
